Who I'd like to meet:
Generally, anyone who is easy going and doesn't take things too seriously. I like to have fun (doesn't everybody?)
I'm open to all sorts of naughty fun, role-playing, fetishes, what-have-you. Not looking for anything too serious, but I always keep my options open.

Interests:
Love science, space, anything to do with nature really. Love reading in my spare time and building things out of junk in my garage, and playing with my kids.

Music:
anything authentic, blissfully blue, that drones or is dynamic, earnest and/or groovy, idealistic, jazzy and melancholic, pleading, quirky, romantic, soulful, or complex harmonically, rhythmically or melodically. Substance over style - always. Musicians: check your ego at the door. Cannot tolerate pretension or affectation.
Movies:
I hate musicians who act like people that they think we will like. But, on the other hand, I love people who act like people not pretending to act like anyone but themselves. Interesting dichotomy there. In short: anything with a great cast, likeable characters, interesting settings and cinematography. I usually wait until after award season to see that previous years movies - namely, the award winning ones.
Books:
I probably finish fewer than one-third of the books I pick up. I don't have hours a day to devote to finding and consuming a great book, so if it doesn't do it for me, I will move on - life's too short! I don't like fantasy too much. It's hard for me to suspend my disbelief of the supernatural. SF is enjoyable. Basically I like a good yarn set in a plausible reality. l.
