Just an old Dog ain't no young pup anymore, I've been around a block or two- some more than once in my day- been there done that, ain't going there again, ya those are famous last words that rank along side of- I promise or trust me, more than one one lesson I've learned the hard way again some more than once an yet for some unknown reason they never quite sink in perhaps I'm to forgiving an to understanding I believe it is better to give than receive, perhaps that's why I come up short all too often just my luck which I'm not a firm believer in. Faith, hope, love an charity begin at home which I'm devoted to, an home is where I hang my hat. I spend a lot of time there thinking about the past and what is yet to come so I'm a thinker more so than a doer.They say if you can't play with the big dogs stay on the porch so that's what I do,but not because I can't because I know I can still keep up with the best of em. I'm just waiting for the right stray to wander by and I'll show her a trick or two I've learned and just maybe she'll know a few of her own she's willing to share. They say you can't teach an old dog new tricks well I believe that's only true if the old dog ain't willing to try an I'm open minded and will try anything once- well almost anything ,you got to draw a line somewhere, it's a fine line we walk everyday by choice or chance unsure of what to expect or predict.This ole porch sure gets lonely at times just me and my thoughts like the one that just struck me.Will I ever get just one more chance to bury a bone in someone I'd love forever with all my heart and soul,well it's nap time for this old dog where I can dream and believe they may come true
