About me:
I'm never sure what to put on these things. I mean, how can you ask someone to try and put the essence of their being into words? I find it nearly impossible. Well, I joined because I wanted to be somebody other than myself for a little while and discovered that that really isn't going to work. I can't keep up a disguise, even if it's through an avatar with people who I'll never really know. I usually start with "I'm a shy person." I'm not a jerk, not a bitch and do not try to come off that way. Apparently when you act shy others seem to think you're nasty person. Words that describe me: repressed (not by others), depressed, emo, traditional, family-oriented, inability to share/open up, awkward, weird, curious, sexually inexperienced, introvert, book-worm, suicidal, fake, sarcastic, a need to be in control, caring, an inability to trust, and whatever else I'm forgetting. I realize this will probably put people off, although I'm really not sure. I just want one place in my life where I can be who I want to be. I constantly lie to my closest friends and my family to create an image of who I want to be instead of showing them who I really am.
Who I'd like to meet:
People who are cool. People who are patient. People who don't mind that I take longer to open up than most and people who don't mind that I sometimes have really awkward conversations.Most of all I'd love to make connections here. The sex could be fun (I wouldn't know), but what I really want is the chance to make some awesome friends who like me for me.

I love ANY kind of dance movie. I know they're dumb, but I love watching people who can actually dance because it's simply amazing. Take the Lead, Save the Last Dance, Step Up, Hairspray etc...
I love movies based off of comic books, even though I do not read comic books. I think they are beyond awesome.
Books:
Mostly mystery right now. I used to be heavily into fantasy, but slowly found myself getting bored of the genre. I always enjoy violence (and no I'm not disturbing) and a book that keeps you guessing.
