Harlan B. Danz
Died: Monday, May 01, 2006
Age: 87
Harlan B. Danz, 87, 5860 Parliament Lane, Delavan, and longtime Black Earth and Middleton resident, died Monday, May 1, 2006, at his home.
Harlan was born April 9, 1919, in Barry Township, Dane County, the son of Adam A. Danz and Tina Olson.
Harlan served in World War II in the U.S. Army. He was a former diatetic coordinator in Madison and a former Pet Milk employee.
He married Anetta (Ann) Walser at Ft. Sill, Okla., Aug. 8, 1942. They were active members of Sugar Creek Lutheran Church.
Harlan is survived by his wife, Ann; two sons, David (Carriel) Danz, Williams Bay, and Dennis (Lynn) Danz, Winston, Ore.; two sisters, Laura Garfoot, Black Earth, and Arlene (Roger) Disrude, Mt. Horeb; one brother, Gilbert (Helen) Danz, Black Earth; seven grandchildren, Aaron Patrick, Aaron Samuel, Jeremy, Shana, Taylor, Barrett and Parker; and one great-grandchild, Quinton.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one great-grandchild, Jaden.
Funeral services were held Saturday, May 6, 2006, at Sugar Creek Lutheran Church, with the Rev. Gerald Petersen officiating. Burial followed with full military rites at East Delavan Cemetery. Friends visited the family at the church preceding the service. The Betzer Funeral Home, Elkhorn, assisted the family.
The family suggested memorials to the Visiting Nurse Association Hospice or the church.

Movies:
My favorite movie (s) of all time are the Star Wars movies. I have them all including a never before seen directors cut of Episode III. Its an actual copy of the original. Still has the count clock at the top of the screen and is a little distorted cause of course it was made for the movie theater. I also love comedy and action. The occasional love romatic move is ok too...
