BHMC RULES
Principal Officers – Executive Committee
There shall be TEN voting officers for each chapter; two Vice-Presidents, Secretary, Treasurer, Sergeant-at-Arms, Recruitment Officer, Road Captain and 3 Enforcers. These officers make up the executing committee. A Tail Gunner may be added if requested by the Road Captain. The President and Founder shall serve on the Executive Committee as tie breakers in any votes taken.
Meetings
1. Organized meetings (Church) will be set by the Executive Committee. Notifications will be sent out to all members on the BHMC CHAT.
2. Majority rules (51%); ties will be decided by the President or Founder.
3. If a vote is taken at a meeting and a member is not there, his or her vote is void.
4. Meetings will be closed except for prospective members and anyone there on Club business which is pre-arranged prior to the meeting.
5. Prospects will not be present during Membership Voting. After voting they will be allowed to come in unless said member being voted on was not approved.
6. All meetings will be run on a parliamentary basis. You need to be recognized/permission to speak. Members will be evicted for unruly conduct.
7. Missing three (3) meetings in a row and your voting rights will be revoked until you’re in compliance. If continues the Board can set sanctions including dismissal if needed.
8. Missing a meeting you will need to contact an officer with a good reason.
9. Secretary will keep all attendance records and report to SA & Board of any attendance problems.
Respect / When in world and wearing your tag and cut, you represent the CLUB. You will show respect to all other CLUBS and to the owners of the Club you are in. You will NOT!!!! Start DRAMA or get involved in DRAMA. You have a right to protect yourself and should always get a witness to all that is going on to cause an issue.
CALL-OUTS / We are a family and this is for fun not to bully or act tough towards others. If you have an issue and need a members help do so in the SKYPE CHAT. NEVER DO IT IN LOCAL FOR OTHERS TO USE AGAINST YOU!!!!!!!!!
PATCH-OVERS / Members from other CLUBS that would like to join BHMC must leave in good standing from their other CLUB. The BHMC President must receive a letter from the President of that CLUB stating that the member has left in good standing or has requested to Patch-Over to the BHMC. If there is an issue that prevents this, the member looking to patch-over must have a sit down with the BHMC board and state their case. If accepted, there will be a one week probation period and then a vote to accept the member as a patch-over. The board can also decide to let the member join as a prospect.
Dismissal / If there is any issues or rules violations, the member will be brought before the board and have the right to state the reason or reasons they have violated the BHMC CHARTER RULES. The board will decide if the issue was in violation and if the member should be put on probation. If an officer, the President will have a sit down officer. DISMISSAL MUST BE BY MAJORITY VOTE.
Prospects / Keep your mouth shut, never discuss club business with anyone, and the reality is a prospect is the bottom of the chain. To be really good, learn all members’ names. A club is a brotherhood so be a brother, also make sure you are available for all events, all prospects are expected to do as they are told or instructed, that's a given the more you do the easier it is to become a member. You are being watched and it will be noticed, always remember as a prospect you have no rank or privileges, and upon introducing yourself to any patch holder. You must only introduce yourself as a prospect of the BHMC Motorcycle club, and keep all other conversation to a minimum. PROBATE TIME IS A MINIMUM OF 2 WEEKS, if your probate time gets extended it means you have screwed up, and you should talk to your sponsor. Prospecting should not be looked at as a necessary evil, but a labor of love. Good luck.
Remember all PH’s are brothers and sisters. Respect is the biggest lesson some will have to learn.
