About me:
January 2021: How hard is it to encapsulate yourself into an "About Me" section? I'm not a big secret. I just moved into a new house a couple of weeks ago and I'm thrift store and consigning the furniture. I've got a few rooms semi-done, but the possibilities are endless. I find myself looking for places to fit lifestyle furniture, i.e., suspension hooks, rigging tables, etc. We'll see how much actually happens. It would happen easier, quicker and better... with the right partner ;)

Big life lesson. I'm intrinsically Alpha and will most likely never have the inclination to sub for anyone again. Although that could change ;) I learned a lot, although I'm sure I could have learned more. I'm not plain, nor vanilla; and I will not settle for anything less than what my standards dictate. I served over 33 years in the military and found that my expectations and standards are generally higher (for everything) than most people's. I'm a perfectionist and I can live with that.

Really anything from the later 60’s through about 2005 that is rock and roll, rock, country, metal, whatever – anything except cop-killer rap. Actually, most rap in general is fucking unlistenable to me. Fuck those rap fuckers. Oh, and euro-techno is only cool for orgies and swingers parties in unnaturally laser lighted European castles. But, speaking of castles, I’d love to take a fucking trip to the English Mansion and give in to some forced-bi play with Mistress T! <--- (Was a former fantasy, but I'd still do it!) In that case, Euro-techno would be appropriate. I love the song Hallelujah by Leonard Cohen, although his vocal version is not my favorite. I once dropped a bucket of quarters into a dive bar juke box in the outskirts of New Orleans and played “Let’s Get Drunk and Screw” for about 2 hours! Good times.
Movies:
Currently having an affair with older cinema. Film-noir and neo-noir is on my radar. As much as I like action, my preference is for intellectually stimulating films that make me think, "WTF just happened?"
Books:
I’ve been an avid reader since I was five years old. Since then my tastes have varied in literature through classics, mysteries, sci-fi, spy, war, sports, non-fiction biographies, and various individual subjects. I mostly enjoy reading historically accurate fiction novels revolving around the period 1900-1960. It’s hard to pick a favorite, even when picking “one” from each genre.
