DelenaHupp's Scoop
About me:
I'm an angry ball of contradiction and evasion. I am simultaneously elitist and low-brow, scandalous and prude, extroverted and introverted, bitter and forgiving, shrewd and naive, hateful and affectionate, motivated and indolent, informed and utterly clueless.

I adore language, and I adore syntax, but I find, above all, the mutability of language with the shaping of culture to be the most wonderful facet of human communication.

In some ways, yes, I am a stereotype: I fit the expectations fixed for the image of an English major, and I fit nicely into the nerd niches; just the same, however, I delight in being a teacher who boasts a stint as a stripper and amateur pornographer, in being a lady Dungeon Master, and in being a fashion nerd.

It's just a nutshell, but this is all I feel like writing on the matter. Well, there is one last thing I'd like to get out in the open, a little problem that plagues me on other websites... See that label on my profile that reads "lesbian"? That means, in the strictest sense, that I favour women, as in has boobs and a vagina. While it's entirely possible for me to become romantically involved with a man, I default to women, I'm far more *attracted* to women, and I'm sexually more comfortable with women. I hope this doesn't require further elabouration, though if you feel the urge to inquire on the matter of my sexual personality/preferences/orientation or on my thoughts on human sexuality as a whole, I will oblige.

Who I'd like to meet:
It varies, really, but generally those who aren't satisfied with just being content, don't mind lapses into utter nerd-dom, harbour some childish guilty pleasures (and just some that others may think of as shameful), and can appreciate fiction when it's appropriate.
