About me:
Ok, lets see. I am actually a very shy person who has issues socializing with people in groups. Online interactions are no exception but I am making the effort at the request of someone else. I am in college studying for a BioChemistry major and a Biology minor. Don't ask me what I am going to do with it though, I have no idea. I just know I love math and science so I am going with what I am good at. I figure, if you study what you love and are good at then the right job will present itself, as long as you know what you are looking for.
As far as work goes, I have 2 jobs. I sell video games part time (mostly for the discount and the additional discount it gives me at barnes and noble) and I work in the Hardware Department of a large Home Depot. And yes, I know, all Home Depots seem large but some are much larger than others.
Who I'd like to meet:
People who want to be my friend. I have a bf, not looking for another and i have no need for sex friends. I am the kind of person that people come to when they have a problem. I will listen, give advice or a warm hug. I will do anything to cheer up a friend. But I wouldnt mind finding some who are willing to do the same for me. Those seem to be harder to find.

I absolutely love to travel. So far I have traveled from California to Texas, Missouri, Nevada, Arizona, New Mexico, and Maryland. And I have been to England, Ireland, Scotland, Wales, Belgium, and the Netherlands. I am in no way satisfied and plan to travel much much more. My 2 biggest travel plans are back to Belgium and Amsterdam and a first trip to Japan.
I love anime. I am a huge otaku. My favorite would be Jungle Wa Itsumo Hale Nochi Guu but I love all anime. I love dark ones and light ones, funny ones and ones that make you cry so much you cant read the subtitles. My favorite would be anything Studio Ghibli. They really know how to make a person feel good inside.
I love to read though I had lost the desire until recently when i was forced to find something to do while waiting for my bf at his work.
I love hiking, swimming and just hanging out in parks and beaches. And I love, love, love going to little known, hole-in-the-wall style places, alleys, and towns that have great charm and the feeling of knowing that you are one of few people who knows and appreciates the place.
On Friday nights when I don't have to work the next morning you can find me at the Gothic/Industrial club in LA.

I love almost any kind of music. I love country (though i prefer the kind that leans towards country rock), rock, metal, industrial and almost anything else. I can't stand very much pop or gangster rap.

I love reading. Fantasy mostly with a hint of SciFi and fiction. My favorite books were the His Dark Materials Trilogy (you know, the Golden Compass), The Green Rider, Of Two Minds and many many others. I am currently reading the Septimus Heap series.
