Sir_EmaN_oN's Scoop
About me:
fantasy layout powered by HOTFreeLayouts.com / MyHotComments
I'm low-key & laid back unless someone does me, my family or friends wrong. I HATE confrontation but also don't like being decieved or being "bulldozed" I guess you'd say. I'm open minded in most of my views but traditional in some ways ESPECIALLY my views on relationships.
I don't believe in "social dating" (dating multiple people). When I find a girl I'm interested in, that's it...PERIOD. All my efforts & focus are on her. Doesn't mean I ignore family & friends, it just means no one else has my same attention, devotion & focus. I think that's how it should be. Dating more than one and/or not giving your all in a relationship isn't fair & it doesn't allow you to get to know someone & develop a 1 on 1, monogamous relationship.
If something different works for you, so be it. It's just not what I believe in or agree with. However, I'll defend your right to do as you please AS LONG AS it doesn't interfere or negatively affect others.
Having the views I do though & with RLC being a social site, it does create a bit of a struggle internally for me. The "me" here in RLC is more open/daring or however you might phrase it. Doesn't mean I'm a nice guy here and a jerk in real life or vice versa or I'm risque' here but don't have an adventurous side in real life. Nor does it mean I'm a "stick in the mud". But being single, in "small town America", and not into large crowds or the "party scene", there aren't many ways to socialize in ways I'm comfortable with. So, that's why im in RLC.
Who I'd like to meet:
Open, honest, females who aren't into mind games. People who respect, support, accept & love me. I came to RLC to find friends, fight boredom, depression, etc. Sadly, most see RLC as ONLY a game. I no longer believe I'll find many TRUE friends. Not knocking specific persons, just a blanket statement based on past experience here. My 2 cents: BE ALERT! Who you think a person/situation is, MIGHT not be true or the person you think they are.
Like many, I've explored fantasies in RLC a bit. Get to know me to find out what they are. But don't tell me you're here to meet someone & explore fantasies & days later tell me "I want to explore solo now ". Also, if you're already involved with someone, TELL ME. I WON'T purposely get in those situations. I respect relationships & committment. I HOPE other guys feel the same but experience (RLC & real life) tells me that's not true. Don't play those games with me.
If you rememer only ONE thing, I hope it's this: the avatars have a REAL person behind them, with real emotions & feelings. Not being face to face or hearing a voice is NO excuse to treat them like crap or play them.
Ladies, if what you've read interests you and/or you're looking to meet a nice guy, let's talk. Guys, I won't be rude if you speak to me, ask a question or need help, but I'm not interested in talking to you beyond being cordial.

Interests:
General interests: music, sports, history, travel & cooking, as well as meeting and interacting with people, when possible, especially those who truly are genuine.
My Favorite Websites:
Depends on my interests on a particular day or what I happen to be researching.
Music:
A little of everything...60's through todays top artists. I grew up listening to everything from KISS (all time fave band), power ballds and "big hair" bands of the 80's to disco, southern rock (Lynyrd Skynyrd) to timeless, easy listening favorites like Billy Joel, Elton John & Rod Stewart.
Movies:
Anything that makes me laugh or keeps me on the edge of my seat. So mostly comedies, thrillers & horrors. I love animated movies & cartoons too, the older ones though not the goofy looking ones on Nickelodeon or Carton Network today. I'm not a fan of older classic movies but give me older classic cartoons where a person looks like a person & not some free-form scribble, any day.
Books:
Don't read much except an occasional newspaper, which I don't subscribe to daily (that's why theres CNN :-) When I do read I like history, especially Civil War, spiritual/motivational and true-crime books about high-profile (or not so high profile) crime (like OJ etc.). Im reading "The Last Lecture" now. Sadly, the man the book is about just died. It's a GREAT look at humankind and how he turned something very tragic (terminal cancer) into something positive, especially the legacy he left behind for his family. Not much into non-fiction or science fiction. I prefer reading about "real world" things.
