Interests:
I was a keen dancer for the majority of my life and spent up to 12 hours a week in various dance classes as well as taking part in an annual show. This is something I gave up for my studies and is something I miss greatly. Nowadays I spend my free time socialising, listening to music, baking cakes with my housemates or getting stuck in to a good book. Admittedly a slightly more boring lifestyle than I have previously had and sometimes I feel I have aged before my time but despite this I am often still very much in touch with my inner child.

Music:
I have a rather random and varied taste in music. I enjoy everything from chilled out, mellow, acoustic to classic rock, cheesy 90's, 80's power ballads, a little pop and I have even dabbled in the heavy metal genre. I also have a slight guilty pleasure for dub step and drum and base as much as I am embarrassed to admit this.
My music library includes: Maroon 5, The Script, Usher, James Morrison, Jessie J, R Kelly, Backstreet Boys, Muse, Red Hot Chilli Peppers, Arctic Monkeys, Queen, Five Finger Death Punch, Avenged Sevenfold, Foo Fighters, Oasis, Disclosure, Guns N' Roses and many others that are equally as, if not more embarrassing.
Movies:
I'm really not in to "chick flicks" I love a good action or horror film. Particular favorites of mine are Fight Club, the Die Hard series, the Fast and Furious films, Seven, Shutter Island, Law Abiding Citizen, Green Mile, Freedom Writers, the Bourne films, the Hannibal films, particularly The Silence of the Lambs.
I also have a slightly nerdy side in that I cannot help but enjoy the likes of the Batman films, Avengers, Iron Man and Avatar.
My inner child also enjoys a good old Harry Potter, Ice Age, Monsters Inc, Shrek, Finding Nemo or various other animated marvels of my childhood. Perhaps one day I shall grow up completely although a part of me secretly hopes not.
Books:
Now this is an interesting one. I must have read hundreds of books in my lifetime. I was a keen reader as a child and I am to this day. As a 10 year old girl I wrote a book report on "Den of Lions" (an autobiography of a man kidnapped by terrorists) while my classmates all read the typical Jacqueline Wilson's and Roald Dahl's. As much as I loved these books myself I quickly ran out of good books for my own age which led me to move on to my father's book collection whilst waiting for the "next big" children's author to release their next book.
These days I tend to read unusual books. I have read books on Freudian theories, Circus freaks of the Victorian Era and even 'The Origin of Species' by Charles Darwin.
I also enjoy autobiographies of inspirational people such as war hero's, prisoners of war, political activists and peace protesters. I have even read autobiographies of sex workers, ex drug addicts and biographies of serial killers.
I also greatly enjoy erotic literature. Particularly those involving BDSM and Dominant/Submissive relationships (and no I do not mean 50 shades of Grey!!).
